Artecinema da oltre venti anni è un appuntamento immancabile per lo spettatore napoletano sensibile ad arte e racconto. Un racconto cinematografico che sviscera segreti, retroscena, emozioni e intuiti creativi di figure artistiche di epoca moderna e contemporanea.

La curatrice, Laura Trisorio, coordina quest’affascinante commistione di linguaggi che ogni anno in ottobre prende vita a Napoli, inaugurando al Teatro San Carlo e proiettando al Teatro Augusteo per quattro giornate.

Nell’intervista pubblicata sul quarto numero di Bin_mag racconta: “Artecinema nasce dal desiderio di condividere con gli amici gli straordinari documentari d’arte che mi capitava spesso di vedere in giro per il mondo tra gallerie e festival. Il pubblico si è appassionato fin da subito e Artecinema è diventato in pochi anni un appuntamento imperdibile seguito da un numero vastissimo di persone, molte provenienti anche dall’estero. Anche i registi e i produttori stranieri sono felici di venire a Napoli e rimangono colpiti dalla speciale atmosfera e dal calore del pubblico.

Le radici del Festival sono e restano in questa città ma, già da qualche tempo, i più bei film tratti dall’archivio di Artecinema sono stati presentati nel corso di rassegne da noi curate in diverse parti d’Italia e del mondo: Barcellona, Venezia, Milano, Tianjin”. (read the full article)

Artecinema has been running for over 20 years in Naples and revolves around cinema and art. It is indeed a Film Festival that brings out the secrets, the behind the scenes, the emotions and creative intuitions of Modern day artists.

The curator, Laura Trisorio, coordinates this fascinating event that takes place every year in October in the beautiful San Carlo theatre and Augusteo theatre for four days in Naples.

In an interview published in the fourth issue of bin_mag she says: “Artecinema stems from my desire to share the extraordinary art documents I discover during my travels around the world with my friends. The audiences fell in love with the project almost immediately and turned it in one of the most anticipated events of the Fall in Naples with many people coming from abroad to take part in it. The Foreign filmmakers and producers are very happy to come to Naples. They love its magic atmosphere and the warmth of the people.
